About us
Since 2012, Dreamcatchers for the Soul Foundation has been bringing Holistic wellness into the communities.
DREAMCATCHERS FOR THE SOUL, INC is a registered, 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is to create a safe place that empowers,
motivates, educates and inspires young people to strive for excellence in all areas of their lives. We believe that every child
deserves to learn healthy ways to deal with stress, anxiety, self-regulation, trauma and bullying. Our modalities are
Mindfulness, Qigong, Taichi, Yoga and Reiki.
PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
SAFER COMMUNITY PROJECT:
Students learn a combination of Mindfulness, Yoga, Reiki, Qigong and Reiki for 8 weeks intermittently, these skills will empower them with concentration, conflict resolution, anger management, stress and anxiety.
Dreamcatchers for the Soul trains 10 teens for 2 hours for 8 weeks in mindfulness. This project is
designed to create mindful ambassadors. Upon completion of training these teens will go into the
community and will teach their peers and young children mindfulness. DCFTS staff will shadow them
until they are ready to lead.
Dreamcatchers for the Soul knows that being a senior comes with many uncertainties. To help
them navigate through these challenges, we will provide Mindfulness and Meditation classes so
that they can learn how to cope with life easier and deal with difficult emotions such as:
This is not your typical back to school backpack give-away, this is a holistic approach to “back to
school.” Every year we focus on a Chakra. This year we are focusing on the throat
chakra, Communication. Our Theme this year is “Speaking your truth Mindfully”
